Cancellation & Rescheduling
Cancellation & Rescheduling:
Cancellation, Rescheduling & Weather Policy
CANCELLATION, RESCHEDULING & WEATHER POLICY
Effective Date: October 11, 2026
Hi-Tydz Foam Parties understands that plans can change. This policy explains how cancellations, rescheduling, and weather-related changes are handled.
1. Deposits
Any required deposit is applied toward the Client's booked event.
Deposits are generally non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing by Hi-Tydz.
1. Client Cancellations
If the Client cancels an event, the deposit may be forfeited.
If additional payments have been made, any refund will be determined according to the applicable booking agreement and the timing and circumstances of the cancellation.
1. Rescheduling
When possible, Hi-Tydz will work with the Client to reschedule a cancelled event.
A deposit may be transferred to a new event date when the event is rescheduled in accordance with this policy and the new date is available.
A rescheduling request does not guarantee availability of the requested date.
1. Weather
Because foam and snow events are outdoor activities, weather conditions may affect an event.
Hi-Tydz will monitor weather conditions and communicate with the Client when weather may create a safety concern.
1. Lightning
For safety reasons, Hi-Tydz will not begin or continue an outdoor event when lightning is detected within a 10-mile radius of the event location.
If lightning occurs during an event, the event may be paused or stopped until conditions are determined to be safe.
1. Severe Weather
Hi-Tydz may postpone, reschedule, modify, or cancel an event when weather or environmental conditions create an unsafe situation.
Examples include:
Lightning
Severe thunderstorms
High winds
Extreme weather conditions
Unsafe ground conditions
Other conditions that may create an unreasonable safety risk
1. Weather-Related Rescheduling
When Hi-Tydz determines that weather conditions make an event unsafe, the Client may be offered the opportunity to reschedule, subject to availability.
Hi-Tydz will make reasonable efforts to work with the Client to find an alternative date.
1. Weather Forecast vs. Actual Conditions
Weather forecasts can change.
A forecast of rain, heat, cold, or other weather does not automatically mean an event will be cancelled.
The final decision regarding whether Hi-Tydz equipment can safely operate will be based on actual and reasonably anticipated conditions.
1. Client Cancellation Due to Forecast
If the Client chooses to cancel an event solely because of a weather forecast before Hi-Tydz determines that the event cannot safely proceed, the cancellation will be treated as a Client cancellation and may be subject to the normal cancellation policy.
1. Hi-Tydz Cancellation
If Hi-Tydz must cancel an event because of equipment failure, severe weather, unsafe conditions, or another circumstance within Hi-Tydz's control or reasonable ability to assess, Hi-Tydz will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the event.
If rescheduling is not reasonably possible, any refund will be handled according to the applicable booking agreement.
1. Force Majeure
Hi-Tydz will not be responsible for failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, utility failures, transportation disruptions, or other extraordinary circumstances.
1. Safety Comes First
Hi-Tydz reserves the right to stop or modify an event whenever reasonably necessary to protect guests, employees, equipment, property, or the public.
